I have been passionate about art and design from an early age.
My conviction that clothing can be both fashionable and as comfortable as athletic wear goes back to my high school days. There, for my senior thesis at a public magnet design school, I designed a collection of striking party dresses made with soft t-shirt fabric and tulle.
I went on to major in fashion design at the Parsons School of Design in New York City and intern for fashion icon Anna Sui. After graduating Parsons, I worked under an independent fashion designer located near Baltimore where I learned more about sourcing and production. Committed to my belief that clothing can be both fashion-forward and extremely comfortable, I launched my own line in 2015.
Using luxuriously soft fabrics like jersey, silk and Tencel that feel wonderful to the touch (many of them sustainable and made or dyed in the U.S.), color-blocking, drape and athletic-inspired seam lines, I create clothing that is striking and stands out, that allows you to move freely, and that feels terrific to wear.
Our clothing is designed, cut and sewn in our Baltimore studio. To minimize waste and keep costs down, we make most items to order.
